A one-woodworker shop headquartered in Golden, Colorado.

I’ve been making things out of wood for as long as I can remember. My grandpa was my first teacher. I fell in love with woodworking as a kid because he always treated me as an equal in his workshop, even when I was knee-high. Woodworking remained a hobby, which soon morphed into a side-business, and eventually a full time job. I continue to love woodworking because I find joy in puzzling through new projects and delivering beautiful custom pieces to my clients. If you can dream it, I can build it.

What’s with the moniker “Fat Corey”? I was a bicycle racer in a former life. When another Corey (who happened to be smaller and faster) joined our team, the nicknames “Fat Corey” and “Slow Corey” started bouncing around. As any self respecting bike racer would have done, I quickly latched onto Fat Corey. Nobody wants “slow” in their name.
