Lemonade Stands

The projects that started it all. In 2015 I decided I’d start making things for other people to justify some new tool purchases. At the time I was living with my wife in a 450 sq. ft. basement apartment. Of course the first job that I got was building a 30” x 60” x 30” lemonade stand. I built this out of locally sourced, rough sawn, blue-stain, beetle kill pine wrapped around a 2”x3” frame which allowed the entire piece to fold up and fit in the back of a small Subaru. I resawed all the rough sawn 2” x 6” material in two passes on a jobsite table saw in the driveway outside out the apartment.

I think I charged $250 for the first one, and spent about $300 on materials. I could say it was a bad deal, but it led to more work, that led to more work, which led to more, and you get the rest.
