This Murphy Bed plus Bookshelf is constructed of alder stained to match existing woodwork in the client’s home. I’ve built a couple Murphy Beds using the Rockler hardware kits, and I’ve been very happy with the results. This piece transforms a home office into the occasional guest room, yet folds out of the way on the 360 days of the year that it isn’t being used as a guest room.
