I made the top for this motorized standing desk from three pieces of reclaimed oak tractor-trailer flooring. I filled all the deep scratches and bolt holes with a black epoxy that left a clean and smooth writing surface which I finished with a hard-wax oil. The base is the Jarvis standing desk from fully.com.
