Round Ebonized Ash Coffee Table

This table is made entirely of green ash. The wood has been "ebonized" using a combination of stain and dye. This table plays with radius, and the different ways the various radii interact throughout. I love how ash looks when dyed black. The open grain structure of the wood, and the pronounced cathedral patterns of the boards show through the dye to retain a great "wood" look even when the wood's color has been taken away. This table measures 42" in diameter and stands 15" tall. Three legs was a design choice, but it also makes for a table that is unable to rock, no matter the surface on which it's sitting.
