Walnut and Steel Handrail

I built and installed this railing system in a home in Gunbarrel, CO. The newel posts are actually constructed from four mitered sides which allows for the use of a hidden support at the bottom. The handrail features brass bowties at the joints. I learned in building this project, that a 20’ handrail is about the maximum length piece I can put together in my little shop!
