Walnut Open Base Vanities
As with most of my favorite projects, this vanity project began with some really interesting design constraints. The bathroom is very narrow, so we were trying to squish the vanities as narrow as possible, while maintaining maximum storage. Wall mount plumbing fixtures freed up a few inches of counter depth, and the vessel sinks allowed storage in the top drawer. This allowed me to leave the bases open, which really lightens the overall look of the piece and makes this hallway of a bathroom feel a little more open.
*The narrow nature of the bathroom made post-installation photos nearly impossible, so the images you’re seeing are from construction and pre-installation.
